Every person living in this life must know the answers to their important questions so that they can find stability in their psyche and understand the path they are on, whether it is the right or wrong one.
These questions include: Where did I come from? Where am I headed? What is the purpose of my coming to this life? How did I arrive in this world? Is there a God for this universe? And why were we created?
These questions are very important for every person, and you need to seek convincing answers to them in order to live a balanced life and know where you are going. Everyone is searching for an answer to the question of who God is and the previous questions through the religion they follow and believe is the truth. But are the answers convincing or not? We should not follow something just because we found our parents and families on it; rather, we must search for the truth wherever it may be and follow it.
Therefore, I invite everyone to search within their religion for convincing and logical answers to these questions, and then come to the answers to these same questions in Islam and compare the most convincing and logical responses.
Islam calls us to contemplate the universe, the creatures, and ourselves to deduce the existence of God and to understand that this precision with which the universe is managed must have an initial creator and planner who does not sleep, the Almighty, exalted be He. Islam has clarified to us that the purpose of our creation is to worship this great God through prayer, as well as to cultivate the earth and treat others well. This prevents the oppression of others regardless of their affiliation. Since we were not created in vain, we are being watched by God and will be held accountable for everything we do in the Hereafter. This is what makes a person more committed; they do not care about the surveillance of people to be good, but rather they strive to please the Creator, as He watches every small and large action they take. If we become a society like this, it will spread justice and tolerance among people.
This harmonious universe, with all its components, is evidence that there is a Creator for this universe. He introduces Himself to us in the Holy Quran with His names and attributes; He is the Mighty, the Great, the Subduer, and so on. In order to worship Allah properly, one must know Him truly, and you can know Him through the Holy Quran and what His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) brought in the prophetic tradition, as well as through reflection on His creation and the natural phenomena around us. Anyone who relies on this to know their Creator will reach an undeniable truth and find convincing answers to all previous questions to understand the purpose for which they exist, so they may succeed in both worlds, this life and the Hereafter.
